Lifetime deal vs. the monthly plans — what's the difference?
The lifetime deal (on AppSumo) is pay-once, keep-forever access to the Solo or Agency tier. The monthly plans are the same tiers billed monthly — they launch a little later. Same features per matching tier; the lifetime deal just means you never pay again.
Refund policy — actually?
Lifetime deals are bought on AppSumo and carry AppSumo's 60-day money-back guarantee — request it from your AppSumo account, no reason needed. When monthly plans are live they're billed (and refunded) through Paddle. Either way: no exit survey, no win-back call.
How does annual billing work?
Annual = 17% off (two months free), charged upfront for 12 months. Switch monthly ↔ annual whenever, prorated to the day. (Available once subscriptions launch.)
Taxes / VAT / invoices?
For subscriptions, Paddle is the merchant of record — it handles EU VAT, UK VAT, US sales tax, etc. at checkout, and your invoices come from Paddle. For lifetime deals, AppSumo handles the tax + invoice.
What happens to my data if I leave?
You keep access for the period you paid for. One-click JSON export of every booking, event type, and contact, anytime. After closure, your booking page shows a 'we've moved' notice on your domain, then goes dark — your links don't break overnight.
